I have worked in the professional/legal publishing and bookselling industry for 30 + years

Started behind the counter at the then Australian Law Book Company Bookshop late 1980’s.

Manager & salesperson for Sydney’s indie legal bookseller “Point of Law” in early 90’s.

Moved to London to work for Legalease (UK) and the Legal 500 as their International Sales Manager from 96-99

Returned to Sydney late 1999 & started Australia’s first independent legal news & legal book selling website “Excata”.

Subsequently sold it to Lexis Nexis.

Worked for Lexis Nexis until a 9/11 experience made me realize life was too short

On the birth of my son I stayed at home to look after him and launched Law Librarians News and PracticeSource.com

2018/19 Director @ BenchTV / Benchmark Legal Education Sydney

2015 I launched “Cannabis Law Report” which now encompasses The Cannabis Law Journal, Top 200 Cannabis Lawyers Guide, Top 200 Psychedelics Lawyers Guide and the Krama Koala Podcast which discusses all the latest in law & compliance concerning cannabis, psychedelics and other currently illegal drugs and compounds.

I also run independent record label Metal Postcard Records. founded in 2002

The label has released acts such as the Cambodian Space Project, White Fang, M. Edwards & The Unfortunates, Origami Horses, dreamherbs , TIM.M, Neon Kittens & many others

I have also worked for London literary publisher Chatto & Windus (Random House). Even met Iris Murdoch (we spent a while looking for her coat), Antonia Byatt, Ian McKewan & the now jailed ex president of Pakistan, Imran Khan.

When young I did my fair share of unfortunate jobs. Inc picking tomatoes, working in a t-shirt factory, a psychiatric institution & delivering furniture for a department store to very fussy ex British army colonels in Brighton
