Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Mr. Morgan has more than thirty years of litigation experience in state and federal trial and appellate courts, before arbitration panels, and in mediation. His approach to litigation is informed by his background in a large firm and his management of his own law firm practice.

“John’s deep understanding of employment law and commercial litigation, coupled with his board certification and clerkship experience, will be a real asset to our firm and our clients,” said Clouse Brown co-founder Keith Clouse. “His addition solidifies our reputation for providing top-tier legal counsel and reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional results.”

Mr. Morgan’s employment litigation expertise includes non-competition and trade secret litigation, contract disputes, and executive compensation issues. In addition, he handles a broad range of complex commercial litigation, including business fraud cases, corporate formation and planning, real estate litigation, and commercial construction disputes.

“Having seen Clouse Brown’s exceptional work firsthand, even as opposing counsel, I’ve been impressed by their capabilities and dedication to clients,” Mr. Morgan said. “I’m thrilled to be joining this talented and respected team.”

Mr. Morgan is a 1989 graduate of Tulane University School of Law, and he earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University. Following law school, he completed a clerkship for U.S. District Judge Abel John “A.J.” McNamara in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.

He is admitted to practice in Texas state courts, as well as the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Southern, and Eastern Districts of Texas, and the Eastern and Western Districts of Louisiana.
