Partner Aleksandra Vold commented on the ramifications of a Texas federal court vacating the 2024 changes to the HIPAA Privacy Rule in a Healthcare Info Security article titled “Court Ditches HIPAA Reproductive Health Info Privacy Rule.” In the June 20, 2025, article Vold states that even with the rollback, HIPAA still has limitations and requirements that must be met before any personal health information can be released without a patient’s authorization.
