BakerHostetler Team Advises Wayne-Sanderson Farms in Acquisition of Harrison Poultry

Partner Brian McEvoy led a team that included co-lead Partners Erica Svoboda and Clayton Coley, Partners Chris Arena, Darren Crook, Keith Durkin, Stephen Floyd, Ashley Guffey, Winston Kirton, John Lehrer, Lana Muranovic, Bill Pence, David Serwer, Stefan Smith, Counsel Erika Vela and Associates Marisa Ahlzadeh, Griffin Davis, Harrison Enright, Nicole Falcone, John Foerster, Hillary Freesmeier, and Jamie Kim in the representation of Wayne-Sanderson Farms in their acquisition of Georgia-based Harrison Poultry. The sale is effective immediately and includes the transfer of all Harrison Poultry assets to Wayne-Sanderson Farms.

Industry leader Wayne-Sanderson Farms is the nation’s third-largest poultry producer, with a workforce of more than 27,000 and more than 2,000 farm partners. Founded in 1958, Harrison Poultry employs more than 1,000 and produces nearly 400 million pounds of poultry products annually.

No financial details will be shared, as the acquisition was a private transaction.
