Partners Steven Goldberg and Matthew Gases, together with Associate Richard Reis, led a team that counseled Grant Thornton France as U.S. counsel to join Grant Thornton Advisors and New Mountain Capital’s previously announced deal for a multinational and multidisciplinary global. Formed in 2025, the unified platform now consists of 11 Grant Thornton member firms, as Grant Thornton Spain and Grant Thornton Belgium were also announced as joining in addition to Grant Thornton France. Terms were not disclosed.
Grant Thornton France is one of the premier accounting and advisory firms, with consistent outsized growth and approximately 2,800 employees in 24 offices.
Others who assisted with the deal include Partners Suzanne Hanselman, Thomas Hogan, JR Lanis, Melissa Leonard, Lana Muranovic, Brian Murray, Ronald Stepanovic, Erica Svoboda, Stacy Wilhite and Matt Wochok, Counsel Fanny Ferdman and Daryl Leon and Associates Orga Cadet, Sean Cheatle, Evan Cochran, Jennifer Dare and Brittany Stevenson.
The deal is expected to close in the coming weeks.
