A dedicated team of BakerHostetler attorneys has donated approximately 600 pro bono hours over nearly 10 years to help MUST Ministries – an organization devoted to providing food, basic necessities, shelter and job training to those in need – consolidate various facilities into a single, state of the art campus to offer unparalleled services. At the time, in 2016, the ministry had no land and no money with which to purchase it.
Since then, BakerHostetler has helped MUST, which stands for Ministries United in Service and Training, navigate numerous complex real estate transactions to help this vision become a reality. In October 2025, the organization held a grand opening for the final piece, a community health clinic, making the campus a one-stop shop for those needing services. In addition to the community clinic, the new campus also includes a new donation center, homeless shelter, community kitchen, administrative offices and much more.
Attorneys who have worked with MUST Ministries include Partners Joann Gallagher Jones and Stephen Floyd, Counsel Charleston Morford and Kimberly Ruark and Associates Marisa Ahlzadeh, Austin Cohen, Jarvarus Gresham, Macy Hawkins, Adam Kaye, Nolan McKeever, Miranda Owens and Scott Robertson.
